Job Title: Boilermaker Field Service Technician
Location: Baton Rouge, Louisiana
COMP: $34-$37 per hour.

Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Field Service Technician to join our team in Baton Rouge. This role will initially focus on providing on-site technical support and maintenance services to our clients in the region. As the office expands, there will be an opportunity to transition into a Service Manager role, overseeing multiple technicians and managing client relationships.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform preventive maintenance, water treatment services, and emergency repairs for clients in various industries.
- Respond promptly to emergency calls and troubleshoot issues on-site.
- Maintain professionalism and effectively manage customer interactions, even in challenging situations.
- Travel to support other offices and clients as needed, including potential national travel for startups and training.
- Participate in mandatory training programs, both in-house and off-site, to stay updated on the latest technologies and products.
- Assist in setting up and managing the remote office as the team grows.
- Operate company vehicles and manage travel expenses using a company credit card.
Qualifications:
- Prior experience in a technical field service role is preferred.
- Strong troubleshooting skills and the ability to work under pressure.
- Basic electrical knowledge is a plus, but not required; we provide training.
- Comfortable working in various industrial environments, including food processing, semiconductor, and oil and gas facilities.
- Willingness to travel, including up to six weeks of travel per year.
- Ability to spend an initial training period (up to six months) in Houston, Texas, with potential hybrid work between Houston and Baton Rouge.
- Military experience, particularly Navy nuclear-trained technicians (ELTs, ROs), is highly valued.
Compensation and Benefits:
- Starting pay: $34-$37 per hour, based on experience and interview performance.
