Responsibilities:
- Provide instruction to students in the absence of the regular teacher
- Follow lesson plans and ensure that educational activities are carried out effectively
- Maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment
- Manage student behavior and enforce classroom rules
- Adapt teaching methods to accommodate different learning styles and abilities
- Communicate with school staff, parents, and students as necessary
- Complete required administrative tasks, such as taking attendance and submitting reports
Qualifications:
- Previous experience working with children in a tutoring, classroom, or similar setting
- Knowledge of childhood development and educational principles
- Ability to work with individuals with autism or other special needs
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Effective behavior management techniques
- Ability to educate and engage students of various ages and backgrounds
- Familiarity with preschool or elementary curriculum is a plus
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Flexibility and adaptability to different teaching environments
Note: This is a substitute position, which means that the schedule may vary depending on the needs of the school. Substitute teachers are often called upon on short notice to fill in for absent teachers.

Pay: $130.00 - $260.00 per day
