We are a local, family-owned business that has been manufacturing fishcake (kamaboko!) and sharing seafood with your families since 1946.
The Delivery Driver is responsible for delivering and servicing the supermarket accounts and a limited number of foodservice accounts. The driver will also stock, merchandise, and rotate our products' inventory at supermarkets.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Review invoices and pull orders for next-day deliveries
- Deliver orders to customers
- Stock, merchandise, and rotate inventory at the supermarkets
- Monitor inventory levels at the stores and place orders for future deliveries
- Communicate effectively with department managers at supermarkets
- Safely operate equipment to transport and organize products
Preferred Qualification
- Previous delivery experience to supermarkets
- Experience driving a box truck
- Forklift certification
- Comfortable using material handling equipment (pallet jack, hand trucks, wagons)
Minimum Requirements
- Valid Driver’s License
- Clean driving record
- Must be able to obtain a DOT medical card within 2 weeks of start date
Physical Requirements
- Able to carry, lift, and move items weighing up to 50lbs
- Able to reach overhead and bend down
- Able to work in cold (0-55F) environments
- Able to operate a forklift
Hours
- Monday - Saturday : 6:00 am - 2:00 pm
- This role involves working between 40-45 hours per week. Hours vary each day depending on the route and scheduled deliveries.
Wage
- Base + Commission Structure
- Pay Range - $40,000-$50,000
