SUMMARY:
Responsible for set-up of the continental breakfast, cleanliness of the food and beverage areas and assisting in the setting-up and cleaning for special guest functions.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Prepare and set-up breakfast foods; conduct regular inventories of food and paper goods used at breakfast.
- Maintain stock of breakfast foods during buffet breakfast.
- Maintain the cleanliness of the buffet breakfast area, mop, wipe-down countertops etc. during and after breakfast hours. Maintain company standards by recording food temperatures and follow codes set by the health department.
- Assist in the set-up of meeting rooms and banquets. Assist in maintaining the cleanliness of the meeting room during and after the meeting.
- Clean the public areas thoroughly each day, according to system standards.
- Responsible for knowing hotel emergency procedures and the proper administration of key control for issued keys.
- Notify Operations Manager or Assistant General Manager of any problems with cleaning or equipment.
- Accommodate guest special requests courteously.
- Answer guest questions regarding hotels and local area facilities and services.
- Any other reasonable requests made by management is expected to be followed.
