The Georgia Department of Behavioral Health and Developmental Disabilities (DBHDD) is the state agency that focuses solely on policies, programs, and services for people with mental health challenges, substance use disorders, intellectual and developmental disabilities, or any combination of these. As Georgia’s public safety net, DBHDD operates six field offices and five hospitals throughout the state within three program areas: behavioral health, developmental disabilities and hospital services.

Job Description
Job Title: Staffing Agency Program Manager
Pay Grade: L
Job Summary:
The Staffing Agency Program Manager at DBHDD has the critical role of assessing the performance of external business partners that supply temporary staffing solutions to DBHDD locations. The goal is to ensure continuous service delivery and drive improvements in the quality of care and support provided by temporary staff. This role involves collaborating closely with the Talent Acquisition Team to ensure the effective placement and onboarding of both clinical and non-clinical direct care staff.
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
- Maintain strong working relationships with staffing agencies to facilitate open communication and collaboration.
- Develop and implement metrics for assessing the performance of staffing agencies.
- Collect and analyze performance data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
- Overseeing the onboarding process to ensure new hires are integrated smoothy into the organization, including orientation, training and compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Ensure that all temporary staff meet the required qualifications and standards set by DBHDD.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for business partners regarding performance related matters; work with business partners and internal stakeholders to address performance issues and implement corrective actions.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to align staffing strategies with DBHDD’s mission and goals.
- Prepare detailed reports of staffing agency performance; provide recommendations based on performance data to make informed decisions.
- Stay updated on regulatory changes and communicate relevant information to business partners.
- Ensure that all staffing agencies comply with DBHDD policies, state regulations and industry standards.
Physical Requirements:
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Must be able to lift to 15 pounds at times.
- May require travel to various DBHDD locations.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master’s Degree in a related field.
- Familiarity with temporary staffing practices and vendor management.
- 3+ years’ experience project management experience in mid to large size organizations.
