SUMMARY
This role serves as a field business development representative for jeweler solutions, JMSS and commercial lines. Emphasis will depend on key initiatives set throughout the year by sales and P&L leadership. The FBDR is responsible for identifying retailers in his/her geographical area that may be candidates for any of our jeweler programs. FBDR will schedule in person sales visits with jewelers with the goal of presenting, selling, enrolling and onboarding as it relates to all jeweler programs. Critical functions within this role include enrolling retailers and securing contractual agreements, cultivating strong relationships to drive new business growth in all programs, selling and training best practices at all levels to promote and improve top line sales. This position works closely with P&L leadership, Business Development, Sales Director, other Sales Representatives, Operations and inside account managers to appropriately steer the direction of the product(s)/program(s).

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Research retailers in designated territory, recognizing and capturing in SalesForce (but not limited to) POS systems, shipping platforms, active warranty programs, commercial insurers and appraisal tools
- Field travel 65-70% of time in designated territory or in areas determined by the sales manager
- Serve as a field support resource for all JM program(s) and resolving any questions or concerns
- Execute onboarding, including program setup and training of a retailer on POS integration, processes, and sales techniques across multiple mediums and audiences
- Establish best practices in both presentation and training for retailers of all size
- Help to provide a smooth transition from business development and/or agency to onboarding phase in partnership with applicable party
- Identify and execute on additional opportunities for training, engagement, and growth based on the unique needs of the jeweler, working closely with the JM account management team
- Lead, troubleshoot, and resolve partner issues with a sense of urgency
- Utilize Salesforce at organizational direction to build strong, accountable engagement tracking
- Provide feedback to appropriate business areas for future product enhancements, communication methods, etc… to improve efficiencies and improve the jeweler and customer experience
- Coordinate marketing materials and any technical requirements cross-functionally and externally with engaged vendors

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
- 2+ years of customer facing experience preferred
- Must have experience with the MS Office Suite
- Strong communication skills at all levels including the ability to inform, educate, negotiate, and persuade

- Ability to translate results to presentations that tell a story with appropriate calls-to-action

Physical Requirements
- In an out of an automobile and/or stores, calling on retail jewelers
- Required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or touch objects or controls; and talk or hear.
- Travel 65 – 70% of the time
For New York, pay range: $75,000 to $115,000. This is the pay range the Company believes it will pay for this position at the time of this posting. Consistent with applicable law, compensation will be determined based on job-related, non-discriminatory factors including but not limited to work experience, skills, certifications and geographical location. The Company reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time.
