OVERVIEW
1. Assistant General Manager:
As the Assistant General Manager, you will work closely with the General Manager to support the overall operations of the restaurant. Your responsibilities will include:
- Assisting in the day-to-day management of the restaurant, including staffing, scheduling, and inventory management
- Providing leadership and guidance to staff to ensure smooth operations during service
- Assisting with financial management, including budgeting, forecasting, and cost control
- Collaborating with the management team to develop and implement strategies to enhance guest satisfaction and increase revenue
- Handling administrative tasks such as payroll, purchasing, and vendor relations
- Serving as a role model for staff by demonstrating professionalism, hospitality, and teamwork
2. Restaurant Manager:
As the Restaurant Manager, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of the dining room and front-of-house areas. Your responsibilities will include:
- Overseeing the daily operations of the dining room, including seating assignments, reservations, and guest flow
- Training and supervising front-of-house staff to deliver exceptional service
- Monitoring and maintaining cleanliness, organization, and ambiance standards in the dining area
- Handling guest inquiries, complaints, and special requests in a timely and professional manner
- Collaborating with the kitchen team to ensure seamless communication and coordination between front and back of house
- Assisting with inventory management, including ordering supplies and conducting regular stock counts
- Ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations and company policies
3. Wine & Beverage Manager:
As the Wine & Beverage Manager, you will be responsible for curating an exceptional beverage program that complements our culinary offerings and enhances the overall dining experience. Your duties will include:
- Maintaining a diverse and high-quality wine list, beer selection, and cocktail menu
- Training staff on wine and beverage knowledge, service techniques, and responsible alcohol service
- Managing beverage inventory, including ordering, receiving, and stocking
- Collaborating with the kitchen team to create food and beverage pairings and special tasting menus
- Monitoring beverage sales and trends to optimize profitability and customer satisfaction
- Ensuring compliance with all alcohol service laws and regulations
- Building and maintaining relationships with suppliers and distributors to source unique and high-quality beverage products
QUALIFICATIONS
- Previous experience (2-3 years) in a similar management role within the hospitality industry, fine dining required
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proven track record of achieving sales and profitability targets
- Knowledge of food and beverage operations, including wine and cocktail service
- Familiarity with restaurant management software and systems
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
