Description: Primary duties of the Maintenance Technician include installing, troubleshooting, diagnosing, repairing and maintaining mechanical, electrical, pneumatic and hydraulic components of machines and equipment according to safety, predictive and productive maintenance systems and processes. The ideal candidate will be able to skillfully interpret equipment manuals to install, maintain and modify systems including programmable controllers and drives, and perform a variety of plumbing, HVAC, and facilities maintenance functions.
Shift: 2nd (requires some on-call availability)
Requirements:
Strong electrical background and the ability to lift up to 75 lbs, stand/walk for an entire shift, bend, kneel, crawl and climb on a regular basis and meet requirements for close, distance, and peripheral vision. Strong technical, mechanical and electronic capacity, sound leadership skills, communication proficiency.
4+ years of experience in manufacturing. An AA degree in mechanical, electrical and industrial skills including PLC experience is also required.
