Wurth Revcar, a division of the Wurth Industry Group is seeking a Warehouse Specialist with great communication and leadership skills for our Berlin Branch. Qualified candidate will be extremely organized, possess great attention to detail, and have the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment. Experience in shipping, receiving, and inventory control is required. A strong sense of urgency and the ability to creatively resolve problems is also required.
Position Summary
The Warehouse Specialist is responsible for general and specific tasks related to the effective execution and support of distribution operations by applying warehouse experience to any distribution-related need. This position serves as a trainer and backup for shipping, receiving, packing, and inventory control, in addition to supporting the warehouse manager on projects.
Job Responsibilities
- Assists with any warehouse function as needed - shipping, receiving, inventory control, packing
- Communicates with department supervisors and determines where additional support is needed each day
- Serves as backup to supervisors in each department throughout warehouse
- Assists with Route Inventory Technician routes as needed
- Supports warehouse manager with projects and tasks as needed
- Trains new hires in any warehouse role
- Continuously works to improve productivity and efficiency of processes
- Gives high priority to Customer Service and Quality
- Collaborates with other departments to resolve issues
- All other duties as assigned
Education/Experience Requirements
- Warehouse/distribution experience in shipping, receiving, and inventory control (6-8 years preferred)
- Strong leadership skills
- Strong decision making and problem solving skills
- Strong communication skills (oral and written)
- Excellent organization and time management skills
- Proficient computer/Microsoft software skills
- Able to work in face-paced environment
