Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily operations of the floor, ensuring smooth and efficient service
- Provide exceptional customer service, addressing any concerns or issues that arise
- Assist the manager in training and supervising staff members
- Handle cash transactions and maintain accurate cash handling procedures
- Collaborate with the kitchen staff to ensure timely and accurate food preparation
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area and restrooms
- Monitor food safety practices and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
- Coordinate catering events and manage food production for large groups
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a customer service role, preferably as an assistant manager or floor manager
- Strong cash handling skills and ability to reconcile cash registers accurately
- Knowledge of kitchen management practices and food safety regulations
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with customers and staff members
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Strong organizational skills to maintain cleanliness and orderliness of the dining area
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required
