Job Summary
The Jr.Project Manager supports the project management team by performing all organizational duties related to the successful execution of producing quality cabinets and store fixtures of assigned customers.
In this role, the Junior PM will learn the intricacies of developing new products and accounts, defining a scope of work, understanding and relaying customer expectations, as well as building communication and organization skills. S/he will play a vital role in the daily management of customer accounts. This is a junior-level position that offers an opportunity for growth and development within the organization.
This is an onsite position and is located in our Twinsburg, Ohio office.
Key Areas of Responsibility
- Review set of plans, determine scope of work, do takeoffs, and write sales orders
- Process stock work orders in the system
- Prepare material purchase requisitions
- Print pick lists and download/print drawings from various customer sites, as required
- Complete other assignments, as requested by management
Education, Qualifications & Experience
- College Degree in Business, Management, Manufacturing or Engineering preferred
- 1-2 years minimum of similar experience and/or combination of education and experience
- Prior work experience in millwork, manufacturing, woodworking, or store fixture display company highly preferred
- Teamwork, collaboration, planning, and organizing skills essential
- Strong oral and written communication skills essential
- Experienced with MS Office: Excel and Word
- Experience in a manufacturing environment a plus, preferably in wood/metal store fixtures
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, math skills, and AutoCAD a plus.
