To recommend and implement repairs for all types of industrial and rotating equipment, including but not limited to compressors, turbines, and other equipment. Has the ability to document, erect, alter, install, align, repair, replace, disassemble, and reassemble, move and inspect all rotating equipment (Elliott and Non-Elliott), using proper tooling and processes to complete work in a safe and timely manner to meet customer needs. Has the ability to plan and oversee repairs with very minimal supervision or feedback. Helps train other employees in the functions and processes in the department.

Advanced knowledge and accuracy in using various measuring devices: micrometers, indicators, calipers, gages, and other required tools necessary to perform the job.
Able to accurately measure and record all critical clearances and dimensions on turbines, compressors, and any other equipment necessary.
Able to pass annual dimensional inspection test.
Able to understand and process documentation associated with turbo machinery such as inspection reports, photo logs, and hold tags.
Advance knowledge of lifting, rigging, crane and forklift operations.
Helps train other hourly employees in repair processes and procedures.
Maintains continuity among work shifts by documenting and communicating actions, irregularities, and continuing needs.
Evaluate experimental procedures and recommend change or modifications for efficiency and adaptability to setup and production.
Updates job knowledge by participating in company provided educational material, trainings, and reading technical publications.
Accomplishes organization goals by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests and exploring opportunities.
