The Role: Multi – Unit Director of Revenue Generation – Sable at Navy Pier Chicago
We are seeking an experienced and results-oriented Area Director of Revenue Generation to lead our revenue management efforts across multiple Hilton-branded properties. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in revenue management within the hospitality industry, specifically with Hilton brands, and possess the strategic vision and leadership skills necessary to drive revenue growth and maximize profitability.
What You’ll Do:
- Revenue Strategy Leadership: Develop and oversee the implementation of comprehensive revenue management strategies for a portfolio of Hilton-branded properties. Ensure alignment with overall business objectives and maximize revenue opportunities.
- Market Intelligence: Conduct in-depth market analysis to identify trends, competitive positioning, and demand patterns. Utilize data-driven insights to inform strategic decisions and optimize pricing, inventory management, and distribution.
- Forecasting and Budgeting: Lead the forecasting and budgeting process for assigned properties. Provide accurate revenue projections, establish financial goals, and monitor performance against targets.
- Performance Analysis: Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) such as RevPAR, ADR, and occupancy rates. Analyze performance data, identify areas for improvement, and implement corrective actions to achieve revenue goals.
- Distribution Channel Optimization: Manage and optimize the use of various distribution channels, including direct booking platforms, OTAs, and GDS. Ensure effective pricing and availability management across all channels to maximize revenue potential.
- Cross-functional Collaboration: Collaborate closely with property general managers, sales teams, marketing teams, and corporate leadership to ensure revenue management strategies are integrated with overall business plans. Foster a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement.
- Training and Development: Provide leadership, training, and mentorship to property-level revenue managers and other relevant staff. Promote best practices in revenue management and ensure consistent application of strategies and tools.
- Compliance with Hilton Standards: Ensure all revenue management practices are in compliance with Hilton brand standards and guidelines. Leverage Hilton’s revenue management systems and resources effectively to drive results.
- Reporting and Communication: Prepare and present detailed reports on revenue performance, market trends, and strategic initiatives to senior management. Communicate insights, recommendations, and action plans clearly and effectively.
Who You Are:
- Experience: Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in revenue management within the hospitality industry, with a strong preference for experience with Hilton-branded properties.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in hospitality management, Business Administration, or a related field. Advanced certifications in revenue management are a plus.
- Skills:
- Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills
- Proficiency in revenue management systems and tools, including Hilton’s OnQ RM, GRO, and other related platforms
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to lead and influence cross-functional teams
- Strong leadership and team development capabilities
- Advanced knowledge of Excel and other data analysis tools
