Olivetti, McCray & Withrow, LLC is actively searching for an experienced Receptionist to manage the front desk and to perform a variety of administrative and clerical tasks. The Receptionist is the first point of contact for those visiting the firm and is responsible for welcoming guests and greeting clients. The Receptionist coordinates front-desk activities, including answering phones, preparing conference rooms for client meetings, maintaining office equipment and supplies, and various other administrative duties. The ideal candidate will have exceptional customer service skills, including a positive, friendly, and helpful demeanor. Attention to detail, a calm, pleasant disposition, and strong time management skills are essential.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Greet and welcome guests upon arrival
- Answer, screen and forward incoming phone calls
- Provide basic and accurate information in-person and via phone/email
- Maintain office security by following safety procedures and controlling access via the reception desk (monitor logbook, issue visitor badges)
- Order front office supplies and keep inventory of stock
- Update calendars and schedule meetings
- Perform other clerical receptionist duties such as filing, photocopying, scanning, and faxing
Skills
- Proven work experience as a Receptionist, Front Office Representative or similar role
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Professional attitude and appearance
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to be resourceful and proactive when issues arise
- Excellent organizational skills
- Multitasking and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks
- Customer service attitude
- High school diploma; additional certification in Office Management is a plus
