Loving Heart Behavior is a 501©(3) organization that integrated people with diagnosed mental illness into mainstream society by providing treatment education and resources caring parenting monitoring services.
We believe in the power of community to help our mental health children and also find strength in the people coming together to propel a movement forward which is why we created our organization.
We exist to help to help children and young adults with intellectual disabilities, mental disability or mental health issues develop and maintain healthy independent lifestyles through improvements their quality of life through medical social services .
We are dedicated to stepping up our efforts in addressing this issue . Taking on intellectual disabilities is by no means an easy feat , but through cooperation and community empowerment we believe we can facilitate progress in this area. The work will be at Montgomery County, PA
We are looking for Personal Care Associate to join our team. This position requires someone who is caring and dependable that will assist elderly and/or disabled persons in their homes or places of residence. The Personal Care Associate assists with client needs and perform the day-to-day activities of care giving based on approved tasks. PCA will provide care based on company policies and tasks outlined in the patient’s individualized care plan. This can include personal care assistance, preparing of meals, assist with grocery and personal shopping, assist with personal care, running errands, and performing light housekeeping.
- At least 18 years of age
- Physical ability to perform personal care tasks
- Ability to read, write, understand, carry out directions, keep simple medical records and function with minimal supervision
- Must have reliable transportation
- Must not have a criminal conviction which bars employment
- Must have no adverse record or be listed in the Nurse Aide Registry or Employee Misconduct Registry or exclusion list
- Must meet any state requirements related to work experience
- Must meet any state requirements related to training
Job Type: Contract
Pay: $17.00 per hour
Work Location: In person
