Sales Engineer

Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Sales Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong technical background in metal fabrication, along with exceptional sales and customer service skills. As a Sales Engineer, you will be responsible for driving sales growth by developing new business opportunities, managing client relationships, and providing technical expertise to support our customers' needs.

Primary Responsibilities
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective clients.
- Understand client requirements and provide tailored solutions to meet their needs.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the metal fabrication market.
- Provide technical support and guidance to clients on metal fabrication processes and capabilities.
- Collaborate with engineering and production teams to develop and propose custom fabrication solutions.
- Prepare and present technical proposals, cost estimates, and project timelines.
- Review customer drawings for technical feasibility.
- Inform respective superiors about customer related affairs.
Qualifications/Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience in sales, preferably in the metal fabrication or manufacturing industry.
- Strong technical knowledge of metal fabrication processes, materials, and industry standards.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to understand and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
- Experience with ERP’s
- Self-motivated with a strong drive to achieve sales targets and grow the business.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $70,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
