White's Bakery in Brockton is seeking a Pastry Cook/Baker to join its team. This will be a full-time position, Mon.-Fri. with at least 1 weekend day availability needed. One year experience in a commercial bakery and/ or kitchen is required.
Responsibilities & Duties of the position:
- Produce various items for the Pastry and Baking Department. This included tasks such as: frosting cakes, decorating cakes, mixing mousses and fillings, finishing items for presentation in the store and miscellaneous other production of pastry items.
- Must be available to work one weekend day per week (for roughly a half day or 4 hour shift), must be able to work OT during peak times of year (weeks leading up to holidays).
- Must have a working knowledge of food safety and sanitation procedures.
- Must have the ability to lift considerably heavy weight repeatedly when necessary and have the ability to be on your feet for your entire shift (minus breaks).
The compensation for this position is based on experience and interview performance.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $19.00 - $24.00 per hour
