Job Description:
What you'll do:
- Execute activities for product and component qualifications.
- Prepare samples and execute testing to protocols as directed by Engineers.
- Accurate data compiling and maintenance.
- Assist with preparation of reports and presentations where required.
- Operate lab equipment.
- Identify any problems that may adversely affect test performance or reporting of test results and either correct the problems or immediately notify supervisor.
- Maintain laboratory in a clean and functional state.
- Adhere to department rules and laboratory procedures, as well as company regulations stated in the employee handbook.
- Adheres to department specific safety guidelines.
- Standing, sitting, walking, bending, reaching, manual manipulation, and lifting to 25 pounds.
Who you are:
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Previous mechanical testing lab experience preferred.
- Must have the ability to follow laboratory instructions and safety requirements.
- Ability to demonstrate excellent time management skills and work efficiently.
- Self-starter, results oriented, and able to multi-task.
- Must have basic computer skills.
- Ability to communicate effectively and follow written and verbal instructions.
- Ability to lift up to 25 pounds.
Job Type: Contract
Pay: $25.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
