This position is responsible for managing and stewarding the Center’s volunteer and community outreach program, including recruiting, training, and managing the Center’s volunteers and representing the Center in the community across North Texas as well as managing the Center’s retail-style resource closets (Rainbow Rooms). Additionally, this position will provide support to the Development Team in all aspects including event support, donor cultivation, donor gift acknowledgment, development administrative support, and reporting. In partnership with and under the supervision of the Assistant Development Director, the Development Associate will support the Center's overall Development goals, working towards four focus areas: individual volunteer acquisition, corporate and community volunteer group engagement, growth of volunteer program, and volunteer retention and satisfaction.
Compensation: $45,000 - $55,000. Salary is based on experience.
The Development Associate's responsibilities include:

Manage all aspects of the Center’s volunteer program.
- Create a plan to increase the engagement of individual volunteers to support the Center’s mission and work.
- Coordinate all aspects of the Center’s Rainbow Rooms to ensure rooms are fully stocked to serve clients.
- Coordinate and attend community outreach events that support the Center’s mission and fundraising goals.
- Support the Development Team during community outreach and special events, including preparation for, event execution, and post-event acknowledgments.
- Other duties as assigned.
Travel:

This position is based in the Lewisville, TX office. The candidate must be willing to travel to all offices (Bridgeport, Jacksboro, Lewisville, and Denton) and is expected to travel to the Bridgeport and/or Jacksboro office once per week.
Education and Training:

Bachelor’s degree in public relations, business, marketing, non-profit management, or a related field required
Experience:
-
Minimum of 1 year of experience in volunteer management, fundraising, accounting or database management, or non-profit industry.

Bilingual in English/Spanish, preferred?

Experience working at a Children’s Advocacy Center preferred
