Redwood Electric is looking for a highly motivated and proactive individual who will be responsible for estimating the cost of construction projects. This role will primarily work in our Vacaville, 95688 office with a three-year assignment on a job site in Sacramento, 95814.

Responsibilities:
- Determine the total cost of materials, equipment, utilities, and labor for electrical construction projects.
- Research electrical project documents and analyze specifications.
- Prepare estimates for planning, organizing, and scheduling electrical project work.
- Manage pre-qualification and pre-bid submissions.
- Prepare estimates to meet project timelines, such as setting work hours, sequencing tasks, obtaining materials, and securing the best deals with vendors and subcontractors.
- Ensure that relevant documents and budgets are submitted before a bid deadline.
- Regularly report to management and keep clients updated on the project status.
- Formulate contingency plans and effectively manage risks that might impact cost and time estimates.
- Keep track of the latest estimating technology and industry-related techniques.
- Collaborate with other teams, conducting site visits, and providing other services, like bid deliveries, when required.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Minimum 5 years of experience
- High School Diploma or GED
- Postsecondary education electrician training program – a plus
- Bachelors degree in related field is a plus
- Experience in Construction is required
- Experience with Accubid Trimble is preferred
- Proficient with Microsoft Office & Adobe Acrobat

Pay: $85,500.00 - $124,500.00 per year
