The Service Development Manager at Phoenix Water Solutions will spearhead the strategic development of top-tier field construction divisions, positioning them for national recognition and competitive success. This role demands the creation and implementation of innovative strategies to establish and enhance service divisions, ensuring they are equipped with the necessary resources and capabilities to thrive in a competitive landscape.
Reporting directly to the COO, the Service Development Manager will be responsible for exploring new opportunities for divisional expansion, understanding and leveraging the company's technology stack, and ensuring alignment of business processes with strategic objectives. This position requires a blend of strategic vision, industry expertise, and a deep understanding of operational mechanics, all while embodying the company’s core values of big thinking, continuous learning, and ownership.
Outcomes (Within First Six Months):
- Develop a comprehensive strategy for establishing and enhancing field construction divisions.
- Successfully launch or improve at least two division services, with measurable improvements in performance.
- Identify and implement effective tactics for gaining competitive advantage in the industry.
- Conduct a thorough analysis of potential opportunities for new service divisions.
- Ensure all divisions are fully resourced and align with the company's technology stack.
- Achieve a 20% improvement in operational efficiency in targeted divisions.
- Facilitate cross-divisional collaboration to foster innovation and resource sharing.
- Develop and conduct training sessions for divisional managers on strategic and operational best practices.
- Implement a system for regular performance evaluation and feedback within divisions.
- Create a roadmap for future divisional growth and expansion plans.
