Local title company is seeking a full time real estate closer. Closer will review and clear Title; prepare final closing documents, follow Lender guidelines and conduct closings. Must have excellent follow-up, communication, computer and organizational skills and must have a outgoing personality. Must be able to meet deadlines, work under pressure and handle stress. Experience in mortgage lending, paralegal or real estate a plus. An experienced processor should be familiar with SoftPro, Pro Form/ProTrust, Microsoft Office, Outlook, 2010 HUD preparation, and general real estate closing process from start to finish. Title Agent license a plus. Experienced Post Closer must have good credit, be trustworthy, and competent with balancing accounts

Job description:
• Determines escrow requirements by studying and clarifying buyer, seller and lender closing instructions
• Reviews title commitment and identifies all liens on title, property tax information and resolves/satisfies existing liens and encumbrances against property
• Enters title orders into system and obtains all necessary documentation from all parties to accurately process the transaction
• Prepares transaction documents by completing forms and statements, collecting and reviewing all documentation
• Schedule closing and communicate information to all involved parties
• Accurately and successfully completes the closing of the transaction. Obtaining all documentation, reviewing all instructions and completing the settlement statement according to those instructions
• Clearly communicates to all parties within the transaction all necessary information to complete the transaction
• Disburses transaction accurately and maintains all documentation according to company and regulatory requirements
• Works closely with Staff to relay information regarding clients as well as referring possible prospective clients
• Maintains a professional appearance and attitude in all client interactions
• Completes all corporate and state training requirements necessary for the position
• Recording of necessary documents
• Any additional duties the position requires
Who we are looking for
• Strong attention to detail
• Working experience preparing a HUD settlement statement
• Be capable of working in a fast paced environment
• Industry software knowledge. Softpro preferred
• Current Notary for the State of TN/VA or ability to obtain within 30 days preferred

• Outstanding customer service and follow through skills
• Available to work outside the normal business hours on occasion as business requires
• Previous experience within the title and escrow industry
• Network of connections within the industry a plus
• Completion of a High School diploma
Coordinate and prepare closing documents for residential transactions. Interact with Buyers, Sellers, Real Estate Agents and Lenders to assemble information to handle closing. Receive title search reports from in-house title examiners and prepare title commitments and policies. Position also requires ability to handle the escrow file accounting on each transaction. Experience with real estate or mortgage lending preferred. Must be able to work well with details, deadlines and people. Training will be provided.
