Overview:
The Quality Business Partner is responsible ensuring team member compliance with annual education requirements by partnering with the assisted living area in planning, developing, organizing, implementing, coordinating, and evaluating the training programs of team members. This position is responsible for the coordination and oversight of team member health requirements such as annual flu clinic, TB testing compliance and providing guidance, direction, and intervention for our various levels of living related to communicable disease.
What you’ll do:
Administrative
-
Manage and schedule Skills and Education.

Develop education, training, and quality related policies and procedures.
-
Create Annual Calendar of Training based on department needs.
-
Provide oversight of the Relias Learning Platform.
-
Assist in coordinating annual team members and resident Flu clinic and other vaccinations as required.
-
Track call ins and follow procedures for positive covid follow-up.
Training and Development
-
Conduct Skills Day, Med Pass, and CPR classes.
-
Be a resource for and assist in developing and providing education and training for departments outside of Assisted Living.

Provide On the Spot Education.
-
Facilitate team member training and support with the Electronic Medical Record (EMR).
-
Assist with team members with post training follow up needs.
Community Engagement:
-
Attend AL QAPI meeting.
-
Support and assist with facilitation of Brio Living Services’ culture change initiatives to new team members.

Work closely with department managers to identify prospective Brio Buddies.

Serve as liaison with external education institutes to create & coordinate learning opportunities/clinical rotations.
Compliance
-
Engage in quality improvement and training initiatives.

Conduct rounds and do spot-check audits.

Implement and maintain a system of directing, evaluating, recording, and reporting quality initiatives and training outcomes.

Ensure training offerings meet compliance needs, including license, certification, and job requirements.

Conduct routine audits of records and ensure team members are compliant with regulations.

Ensure team members’ training records are current and accurate.

Conduct tracking and reporting for new hires compliance requirements.

In conjunction with the Quality Associate, ensure new staff and current staff training records are current and accurate.
What it takes:
-
Must possess medical assistant (MA) training/equivalent or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN).

Minimum of one (1) year of experience working in direct patient care, providing education and training, preferably in Skilled Nursing and Assisted Living environments.

This position may require some occasional after-hours or weekend availability to ensure proper training to all staff.

Demonstrated experience with use of electronic health records (EMR) software programs and Microsoft Office Suite.
