Position Overview:
Foothills Facilities Maintenance is seeking a dedicated and skilled Full-time Facilities Maintenance Technician. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing general maintenance and repairs on assigned equipment and facilities. This includes tasks related to plumbing, electrical, basic carpentry, heating and cooling, and other building systems. During the pool season, responsibilities extend to assisting with swimming pool start-up, daily chemical checks, cleaning, troubleshooting, and repairs.
Key Responsibilities:

Perform semi-skilled maintenance tasks, including minor plumbing, lighting, HVAC, roof repair, flooring, painting, drywall, ceiling tiles replacement, and door hardware repairs.

Complete assigned work orders promptly.

Implement and adhere to preventive maintenance programs to ensure equipment longevity and operational efficiency.

Ensure all maintenance work complies with safety standards and regulations; identify and address potential safety hazards.

Identify issues requiring collaboration with other skilled trades workers and report accordingly.

Strive to improve operations, reduce turnaround times, streamline processes, and enhance customer service.

Maintain various records, including pool logs, equipment logs, time logs, and material and parts inventory.

Prepare and maintain outdoor pools and pool buildings for summer operation and winter shutdown.

Handle hazardous chemicals such as chlorine, bromine, muriatic acid, and test kit materials for pool setups.

Maintain the pool area, including cleaning the deck and performing other maintenance tasks.
Education and Experience Requirements:

High School diploma or equivalent required.

Minimum of 1 years of relevant work experience.
Preferred but Not Required:
-
Knowledge of skilled trades.

Certified Pool Operator (CPO) Certificate.
Required Skills/Abilities:

Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

Ability to follow proper safety procedures.

Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools.

Ability to follow instructions from a supervisor.

Excellent organizational and time management skills.
Physical Requirements:

Prolonged periods of standing and walking.

Ability to climb ladders, bend, or crawl into awkward spaces.

Ability to lift up to 50 pounds at a time.
Compensation and Benefits:

Starting Pay Range $23.00 - $25.00 per hour.
