Interventional Physiatrist
Position Description:
Proliance Orthopaedics and Sports Medicine is seeking a motivated team player to evaluate, diagnosis and treat patients with acute and chronic pain. Duties will include completing detailed patient assessment and physical examinations, ordering and interpreting radiological and other diagnostic tests-EMG/NCS, medication management, performing minimally invasive procedures/interventions, injections and nerve blocks as well as monitoring the effectiveness of these pain management interventions.

Proliance Orthopaedics & Sports Medicine is a well-established group of twenty board certified and fellowship trained orthopaedic surgeons, advanced practice practitioners, physical & occupational therapists, athletic trainers, with onsite MRI and ambulatory surgery center. Our group has three practice site locations in the following affluent Seattle suburbs: Issaquah, Bellevue, and Redmond.

Qualifications:
Qualified candidates must be ACGME accredited and have completed a fellowship in pain management. We prefer physicians who are boarded in Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation or Anesthesiology; however, we also may consider board certification in Neurology (depending on additional/previous pain management practice experience).
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Diagnosis and treat patient with acute and chronic pain
- Communicate information to patients regarding the diagnosis and treatment goals
- Maintain patient medical records
- Facilitate referrals to other healthcare professionals
- See and average of 24 patients/day
- Perform the following non-operative spinal interventional procedures as necessary:
Ø Medial branch blocks
Ø Facet joint injections
Ø Sacroiliac joint injections
Ø Epidural steroid injections
Ø Nerve blocks
Ø Medial Branch Blocks/Facet Ablations
Ø Interlaminar & Transforaminal/Single Nerve Root Injections
Ø Peripheral Nerve Stimulation
Ø Spinal Cord Stimulation
Ø Vertebroplasty/Kyphoplasty
Ø Prolotherapy
Ø Disc Regenerative Therapy
Ø Peripheral joint injections
Ø Trigger point injections
