Job Summary:
The Precious Metals Inventory Manager will be responsible for ensuring accurate precious metals inventory records, optimizing real-time inventory demand and supply, and negotiating pricing with various depositories.
Responsibilities:
- Maintain an accurate precious metals inventory accounting with various depositories that possess NGI’s precious metals.
- Ensure that inventory levels are accurately maintained to meet operational requirements while minimizing excess inventory.
- Execute trades as part of managing inventory considering market prices and trends to optimize profits.
- Utilize internal inventory systems to streamline physical inventory processes and monitor the movement of precious metals.
- Collaborate with Buy Backs and Success Teams Procurement to optimize usage of precious metals inventory.
- Generate regular reports outlining inventory levels, turnover rates, and shipping manifests.
- Conduct analysis to identify trends, forecast demand, and optimize inventory management strategies.
- Continuously evaluate and improve inventory management processes to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and cost-effectiveness.
- Identify opportunities for automation and standardization.
- Conduct regular audits to reconcile physical inventory with electronic records while ensuring accurate record holdings of incoming and outgoing shipments.
- Prepare regular reports on precious metals inventory, transactions, and outstanding issues.
- Navigate and resolve inventory, trading, shipping, and client service challenges.
Qualifications:
- Experience working with precious metals depositories.
- Problem solving, conflict resolution, and negotiation skills.
- Ability to quickly build rapport with vendors and clients.
- Adapt in learning new software programs (e.g. Salesforce, X42, Revenue.io, DocuSign).
- Minimum three years’ experience in a fast-past environment.
- Ability to positively and rapidly adjust to changing priorities.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and Google Drive.

Pay: $26.44 - $36.06 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
