Title: Distribution Center Manager
As the Operations Manager, your essential job functions include the following:
Supervise Distribution Center Performance
· Direct the day to day operations
· Update and route all freight orders via customer portals
· Manages, coordinates, and monitors labor for department
· Manage replens and incoming inventory
· Ensures that orders are distributed to warehouse associates.
· Monitors the work progress of warehouse associates to ensure that orders are processed and filled in a timely manner.
· Ensures packages are properly for loaded per carrier type.
· Manages waving process to ensure steady workflow for maximum efficiency and productivity
· Communicates well with sales staff on any outages or customer related issues that need attention
· Perform picking, packing, or shipping when necessary
· Manage all cycle count activity for distribution center reviewing daily variances and taking action to improve overall count accuracy Oversee all receiving activities to ensure accuracy in counts and product placement within distribution center
· Investigate and troubleshoot challenges faced by distribution center teams and provide coaching for continuous improvement
· Implements goals and deadlines for the department and assists with making sure schedule is running smooth
· Improves processes and policies in support of company goals and customer’s needs
· Meet and exceed safety, service performance, inventory accuracy, and cost control KPIs, while contributing to the attainment of the sales goals.
· Ensure the timely delivery of product to customers and the effective response to customer requests, problems, and requirements.
· Ensure compliance with company standards of sanitation, maintenance, security, housekeeping (5S), and equipment/facility safety in a manner that assures their most efficient operation.
· Ensure that preventive maintenance is completed in a timely and cost-effective manner.
· Apply sound communication and motivational techniques and create programs to coach, develop, recognize, supervise, counsel and discipline subordinates

Position Requirements
· High School Diploma or G.E.D.
· Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Logistics, or related field degree preferred.
· Supervisory experience in warehouse operations is preferred.
· Efficiency in all Microsoft Office products.
· Strong organizational skills along with excellent oral and written communication skills.
· Experience and familiarity with RF devices and WMS and ERP systems.
· Demonstrated analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills with the ability to drive results.
· Proper use of all company safety equipment as required.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $44,937.52 - $50,000.00 per year
