Responsibilities:
- Oversee the daily operations of the dietary department, ensuring the highest standards of food quality, safety, and service
- Develop and implement menus that meet the nutritional needs and preferences of residents
- Manage inventory and ordering of food and supplies
- Train and supervise dietary staff, providing guidance and support as needed
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless coordination of meal service
- Monitor and maintain compliance with all applicable regulations and guidelines
Experience:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in food service management, preferably in a healthcare or senior living setting
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to effectively manage a team
- Knowledge of nutrition principles and dietary restrictions
- Experience in menu planning, catering, and banquet services
- Familiarity with kitchen operations and equipment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
