Job Description
- Responsible for onsite safety management for a safe work environment (including safety reporting both verbal and written) and adhere to company & OSHA requirements. Investigate and report accidents, delays at site to ensure proper procedures are implements. (There is a full time safety officer on staff)
- Coordinate on time deliveries of project materials and equipment
- Communicate, manage and control subcontractors
- Work directly with project Manager
- Complete field reports
- Plan, organize and direct punch list activities
- Attends client meetings and internal monthly/ quarterly management and safety meetings
- Assures high level of quality and customer service- responsible for protecting clients property
- Capable of problem solving, decision making and recognizing project positive outcome as well as failure analysis
- This list in not all inclusive (Other duties as required)
Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years running commercial projects over 150K.
- Able to perform but not limited to: layouts, rough framing, door and window install, exterior trim, interior trim, roofing.
- Ability to read and interpret construction blueprints and drawings
- Able to solve carpentry related problems
- Normal business hours (Hours may vary due to project needs) May have off hours or weekends needed- flexibility required
- Pass a background and motor vehicle check (provided at no cost to the candidate)
- Pass a drug test (provided at no cost to the candidate)
- Self-motivated leader and must have good communication skills
- Personal commitment to team environment, safety, client satisfaction and quality
- Punctual with reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license
- Possess construction technical proficiency – understanding of building codes and design and construction technologies and jobsite management. Ability to analyze and construct details as indicated on drawings and if necessary, suggests new methods to implement the work.
- OSHA 10 required (Company will provide at no cost to candidate based on company policy)
- Must be able to lift 80 pounds
- Works well with others and can work independently
- Ability to communicate effectively with clients, subcontractors, vendors and trade personnel giving direction while maintaining job schedule
- Ability to forecast and communicate job and manpower needs to Project Manager
- Computer skill: Excel, Word, E-mail, Google Drive, Web/Mobile applications, Procore
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $65,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
