As the Client Agency Junior Fiscal Analyst, you will provide financial guidance to multiple small and less complex Client Agencies, in accordance with State and Federal regulations. Ensuring high levels of accountability for fiscal operations, you will seek guidance from SFS management and higher-level financial staff to ensure accurate and timely communication with their assigned agency directors and agency operational staff. What We Are Looking For
Minimum Qualifications:
-
A Bachelor's Degree in Business, Public or Non-Profit Management, Finance, Accounting, or a related degree (such as Public Policy, Political Science, Public Administration, Economics or other analytical or technical degree); OR,
-
Three years’ experience in management, policy or program analysis, or technical-level budgetary support activities.
Desired Attributes:
-
Knowledge of governmental budgeting and accounting functions, or equivalent private sector experience.

Experience with of SFMS and R*Stars or any other accounting software.

Demonstrated ability to use a variety of software applications.

Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of the Oregon Accounting Manual (OAM).

Proven ability to conduct analysis, identify problems, and identify areas of improvement.

Strong, effective verbal and written communication skills with the ability to produce clear, concise, and accurate reports.
