Job Summary
Our client, a leading provider of cloud-based software in North America, is hiring an Operations Analyst. This is an exciting opportunity to join a team of passionate individuals dedicated to transforming education through innovative technology that supports personalized learning. In this role, you will be responsible for operationalizing and managing the end-to-end lifecycle for our client's resell and distribution partners. You will work closely with both external partners and internal stakeholders to drive the success of partnership programs. As an Operations Analyst, you will act as a liaison between external partners and the internal partnership team, product management, sales, and support organizations.
Responsibilities
- Act as the business account manager for re-sell and distribution relationships
- Build strong rapport and relationships with partners' organizations, effectively communicating reports and invoices from finance operations to C-suite individuals
- Deliver processes and tools to drive awareness, adoption, and success of the partner program
- Collaborate with internal teams to improve the end-to-end partner experience, operationalize program framework and sales processes, and roll out partner communications
- Generate and process monthly and/or quarterly royalty report payments to partners
- Provide timely royalty reporting information to Finance for payments and accruals
- Maintain the current royalty database by creating new royalty contracts, monitoring royalty rates, updating contact information, and making other provisional changes
- Coordinate quarterly KPI meetings for each product line to review the sales pipeline, goals, and actual reports
- Serve as the partnership team point person for any questions regarding customer renewals, notifications, sales pipeline, and royalty report discrepancies for both internal and external stakeholders
- Manage, track, and report on specific program initiatives and operational metrics, as well as the overall success of the partner program
- Analyze data and make recommendations to Partner Leadership to optimize program performance
- Collaborate cross-functionally with accounting, sales operations, product, and other departments to drive operational performance
- Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field, or a combination of relevant education and experience
- Minimum of 1-3 years of related experience in an analyst role
- Experience with consolidating and analyzing data from multiple sources
- Experience in Cloud/SaaS partner programs and tools
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
- Functional knowledge of NetSuite and Salesforce preferred
- Excellent analytical skills, with experience in Excel modeling and statistical analysis
- Effective presentation, organizational, and planning skills
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to effectively identify, prioritize, and escalate issues as required
- Ability to work independently and be a self-starter
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple responsibilities concurrently
- Understanding of internal controls
- Natural curiosity and problem-solving mentality
- Creativity and enthusiasm for both internal and client-facing roles
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, continuously changing environment
