Location: Lenbrook Square Foundation, Atlanta, GA

About Our Healthcare Center: Lenbrook's Healthcare Center is where excellence thrives! Lenbrook skilled nursing center is 60 private rooms with remarkable staff-to-patient ratios of 1:6 for CNAs and 1:20 for LPNs/RNs. Our center consist of 3 floors with 20 beds on each offering rehab, memory care, and long-term skilled care. We redefined long-term care by prioritizing quality through lower clinician-to-patient ratios, ensuring each individual receives the utmost attention and support.
Job Responsibilities: As the Infectious Disease Control RN, you will play a critical role in safeguarding the health and well-being of our residents and associates. Your responsibilities will include:

Developing and implementing infection control protocols and procedures in accordance with best practices and regulatory guidelines.

Conducting surveillance and analysis of infectious disease trends within the community, identifying areas for improvement and implementing targeted interventions.

Collaborating with the nursing team to ensure compliance with infection prevention measures, including hand hygiene, isolation precautions, and environmental cleaning.

Providing education and training to staff on infection control practices and procedures.

Leading investigations into outbreaks or clusters of infectious diseases, coordinating with appropriate agencies and stakeholders as necessary.

Monitoring and evaluating infection control practices through audits and quality improvement initiatives.

Utilizing your expertise in wound care to assess and manage residents with complex wounds, ensuring optimal outcomes and preventing infections.
Qualifications:

Registered Nurse (RN) with current state licensure.

Minimum of 3 years of experience in a long-term healthcare facility, with a focus on infection control and prevention.

Certification in infection control (CIC) preferred.

Strong knowledge of infection control principles, practices, and regulations.

Experience in quality control and performance improvement initiatives.

Wound care certification (CWCA, WCC, or equivalent) highly desirable.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to educate and influence others.

Schedule: Monday-Friday 8A-4P – Full Time
Pay Range: $37.95 - $44/hr, based on experience
