Manages all aspects of accounting operations, overseeing all transactions related to general ledger, receivables, payables, payroll, and financial reporting.
Oversees monthly financial statement preparation and production of narrative. Supervises reconciliation of all balance sheet general ledger accounts and billings.
Provides statistical analysis to Executive Director and Board on financial results and strategies.
Develops and maintains performance measures and monitoring systems that support the company’s strategic direction to ensure financial success.
Drives internal and external financial audits. Prepares necessary reports and documentation and serves as primary contact with auditors.
Understands in detail all aspects of the department, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, billing, etc.
Leads the development and implementation of standardization and process improvement initiatives for finance related functions of the organization, including internal controls.
Manages company assets and equipment.
Works with members of the management team to coordinate planning and establish priorities for the budget process.
Approves expenditures within authority limits and in accordance with policy.
Conducts final review of rural and urban transportation services each month to check for accurate time and mileage data.
Reviews monthly billing and implements changes as necessary.
Attends trainings and meetings as relevant and/or required.
Maintains compliance with federal and state financial regulations as applies to the non-profit sector and grant administration.
