Position Summary:
The Retail and Arcade Coordinator will be responsible for ensuring that standard operating procedures are followed and ensure the Retail and Arcade departments are running a safe, profitable, and smooth operation. The Retail and Arcade Coordinator will train, coach, lead, and discipline his or her team. The Retail and Arcade Coordinator is also responsible for the guest experience quality at the park.

Job Description:

Responsible for the daily oversight of standard operating procedures (SOPs) for all the locations.

Responsible for enforcing company guidelines such as uniform, dress code/grooming, and attendance policies.

Must maintain a smooth flow of communication with managers, coordinators, supervisors, and team members.

Ensure that all locations at the park are open and closed at their scheduled times, supervising team members in performing their daily tasks and setting priorities and maintaining proper inventory levels of merchandise.

Assist in evaluations, training, and motivating the team members.

Coordinate with Management in handling team members' issues and concerns.

Ensure that queue lines remain neat and orderly.

Responsible for theft prevention.

Responsible for completing weekly inventories.

Review the work of Retail and Arcade team members and make recommendations, and offer advice and/or assistance (as needed)

Monitor team members’ performance, facility cleanliness, and safety conditions.

Promote the concept of teamwork amongst all park staff.

Ensure a pleasant and safe work environment for all team members.

Provide an overview of all day-to-day responsibilities relating to Retail and Arcade departments.

Responsible for opening and closing procedures of Luna Park relating to Retail and Arcade Operations.

Monitoring merchandise and supplies level to be sure there is enough to cover the daily needs.

Other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- Must have one plus years of previous experience in hospitality.

Must understand how to read, write, and speak English.

Must be able to work a varied of shifts, including holidays and weekends.

Must be outgoing, friendly, courteous, and honest.

Must have basic math skills.

Must be able to interact in a multicultural environment with a variety of ages.

Able to work in all weather conditions.

Must be able to lift 50 lbs. or more.

Must be able to operate computers and learn software programs.

Experience in guest services and comfortable supervising and leading a team of employees.

Excellent interpersonal skills including verbal and written communication, and leadership.
