Project Manager
The Project Manager will be responsible for overseeing and managing civil construction projects, with a particular focus on land development. The ideal candidate will have experience in civil engineering, plan design, storm drain design, sewer water design, erosion, sedimentation, and be proficient in AutoCAD and hydrology. The Project Manager will work closely with the project team to ensure the successful completion of projects within the designated timeline and budget.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, organize, and manage civil construction projects, specifically in the field of land development.
- Collaborate with project team members, including engineers, architects, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure project objectives are met.
- Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, and budgets.
- Oversee and manage all aspects of project execution, including procurement, subcontractor coordination, and quality control.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant industry standards, codes, and regulations.
- Communicate project progress, challenges, and changes to stakeholders in a timely and effective manner.
- Monitor and track project performance, and implement corrective measures as needed.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Project Manager in the civil construction industry.
- Extensive knowledge and experience in land development, civil engineering, plan design, storm drain design, sewer water design, erosion, sedimentation, and hydrology.
- Proficient in AutoCAD and other project management software.
- Strong leadership and project management skills.
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Knowledge of relevant industry standards, codes, and regulations.
- Certification as a Project Management Professional (PMP) is an asset.
