Coronado Stone Products has been the leader and pioneer in manufactured stone for 60 years. Coronado manufactures and distributes high quality stone products at factories conveniently located across the US. In addition, Coronado supplies over 400 distributors and dealers throughout the United States.
Coronado is looking to hire a Human Resources Assistant with experience in a manufacturing, construction or equivalent manual labor environment.
HR Assistant responsibilities will include:
- Coordinating new hire process including interviewing, extending employment offers, and conducting new hire orientation
- Conducting exit interviews and coordinating the termination process
- Drafting employee communications
- Maintaining employee files
- Support the plant with all Safety Administrative tasks
- Basic Worker's Comp administration
- Other duties as assigned.
Expected Core Competencies:
- Excellent verbal/written skills
- Self starter with initiative and attention to detail
- Strong computer skills in Microsoft Office and HRIS
- Maintains standards of confidentiality and positive work relationships in a respectful and collaborative manner
- Maintains good communication with others ensuring others have necessary information
- Good understanding of employment laws and regulations
- English/Spanish Bilingual is a MUST
