A candidate with General Management experience in the Aviation/Military manufacturing industry. To be successful in this role, the candidate must be a leader, confident in making self-directed decisions, highly organized and an excellent communicator.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Provide high-level reporting and feedback on Business Unit performance to the ownership.
- Monitor and oversee staff, develop and further optimize the Business Unit personnel team reporting to them, develop a people strategy aligned with business needs.
- Provide leadership, coaching, and direction to collaborators on a regular basis.
- Manage operational costs, oversee cash management, and Business Unit direction at an elevated level.
- Oversee facility operations to ensure production efficiency, quality, execution of contracts and deliverables, customer satisfaction and cost-effective management of resources.
- Responsible for day-to-day management of the business to achieve the budgeted operating profit and working capital targets.
- Manage QMS (quality management systems) to ensure compliance with internal and external standards (AS9100D)
- Maintain and drive KPIs for safety, customer quality, project profit, on-time delivery, etc.
- Oversee the planning and sourcing of suppliers for all jobs/projects.
· Conduct regular status meetings and documentation of production planning with team members.
· Performs other reasonable duties as needed and as assigned by ownership, for overall Business Unit operations.

· Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software
Education and Experience:
· Minimum ten years General Management experience of custom components manufacturing, assembly, and procurement operation needed.
· Must have P&L Responsibility Experience
· Aerospace & Defense sector background is a plus.
Physical Requirements:
· Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
· Must be able to lift 30 pounds at times.
