Job Title: Front Desk Receptionist
Job Summary:
We are seeking a friendly and organized Front Desk Receptionist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for our clinic, providing exceptional customer service and administrative support. As a Front Desk Receptionist, you will handle patient inquiries, schedule appointments, manage phone systems, and ensure the smooth operation of the front desk area.
Responsibilities:
- Greet and welcome patients in a courteous and professional manner
- Answer phone calls and direct them appropriately
- Schedule appointments using medical scheduling software
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the front desk area
- Assist with administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and patient registration
- Handle insurance verification and billing inquiries
- Utilize eClinicalWorks, Dentrix, or Eaglesoft software for patient management
- Coordinate with medical staff to ensure efficient patient flow
- Follow up on missed appointments and confirm upcoming schedules
- Provide support to the clinic staff as needed
Schedule
- Monday through Friday
8 am to 4pm or pm to 5pm
- Possibility of a Late-night schedule Monday and Wednesday
-12pm to 8pm
- Working with up to 5 providers a day
- 100+ phone calls a day
Skills:
- Previous experience as a Clinic or Dental Receptionist preferred
- Proficiency in administrative tasks and office procedures
- Knowledge of dental terminology is a plus
- Familiarity with phone systems and handling multiple lines
- Experience with eClinicalWorks, Dentrix, or Eaglesoft software is advantageous
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
