We are currently seeking an experienced Bilingual "Spanish-English" "Administrative Assistant" specializing in Home Care to join our team. This role requires expertise in Medical and Non-Medicaid administrative tasks, including Medicaid experience, as well as Home Care Marketing to find and retain clients and recruiting Personal Care Attendants.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive administrative support to the Home Care department, including scheduling appointments, managing calendars, and organizing documents.
- Process and maintain accurate records of Medicaid-related tasks, such as eligibility verification, claims processing, and billing procedures.
- Utilize Home Care Marketing strategies to identify and attract potential clients, as well as develop and implement client retention strategies.
- Coordinate with healthcare providers, patients, and insurance companies to ensure smooth communication and timely resolution of issues.
- Assist in preparing reports, presentations, and correspondence related to Home Care services and Medicaid programs.
- Handle general office duties, including answering phone calls, responding to emails, and managing office supplies inventory.
- Actively participate in recruiting and onboarding Personal Care Attendants, ensuring compliance with hiring procedures and training requirements.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as an Administrative Assistant in a Home Care or healthcare setting, with a focus on Medical and Non-Medicaid administrative tasks.
- Strong knowledge of Medicaid processes, including eligibility verification, claims processing, and billing, is essential.
- Demonstrated experience in Home Care Marketing, client retention, and recruiting Personal Care Attendants.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Proficiency in MS Office suite and electronic medical records (EMR) systems.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a customer-oriented approach.
