As a Salesperson at Coast Tile and Marble Supply, you will play a crucial role in promoting and selling our extensive range of tile and marble products to customers in a professional and customer-focused manner. Your primary responsibility will be to provide excellent service, product knowledge, and assistance to ensure customer satisfaction and contribute to the success of our business.
Responsibilities:
· Customer Engagement: Greet customers, identify their needs, and actively engage in conversations to understand their project requirements. Provide personalized recommendations and solutions based on their preferences, style, and budget.
· Product Knowledge: Develop a comprehensive understanding of our tile and marble products, including their features, benefits, and variations. Stay updated on industry trends, new product releases, and the latest design concepts to effectively assist customers.
· Consultative Selling: Utilize your expertise to guide customers in selecting the most suitable tile and marble options for their projects. Offer insights into material durability, maintenance requirements, and installation processes, addressing any questions or concerns they may have.
· Quotations and Orders: Prepare accurate and detailed quotations, incorporating pricing, quantities, and any additional services. Process customer orders promptly and efficiently, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery.
· Relationship Building: Build strong and lasting relationships with customers by providing exceptional service and maintaining regular follow-ups. Seek opportunities to exceed customer expectations, address concerns, and ensure customer satisfaction throughout their buying journey.
· Showroom Maintenance: Ensure the showroom is well-organized, clean, and visually appealing, with product displays effectively showcasing our tile and marble offerings. Collaborate with the team to update displays, promotional materials, and pricing information as needed.
· Sales Targets: Meet or exceed individual and team sales targets, contributing to the overall growth and success of the company. Actively seek opportunities to generate new leads, expand the customer base, and contribute to sales and marketing initiatives.
· Industry Networking: Attend industry events, trade shows, and networking opportunities to stay updated on market trends, build industry connections, and represent Coast Tile and Marble Supply professionally.
Requirements:
· Proven sales experience in retail or, ideally, in the tile, marble, or construction industry.
· Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport and establish trust with diverse customers.
· Exceptional customer service skills and a consultative sales approach.
· Detail-oriented and well-organized, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively.
· Proficient in using sales software, ERP systems, and other relevant tools.
· Self-motivated, driven, and results-oriented, with a passion for the tile and marble industry.
· Willingness to continuously learn and adapt to changing market trends and product offerings.
