The Injection Molding Process Technicians responsibilities include the following:
· Setting up and operating injection molding machines to produce plastic parts.
· Following all aspects of processing safety protocol.
· Changing out molds, completing setups, and repairing molds.
· Monitoring and preparing support equipment, such as dryers, color feeders, etc.
· Responsible for cleanliness of department and all processing equipment.
· Perform Mold cleaning and process documentation.
· Contribute to highly productive, efficient, and team-oriented work environment.
· Work with Team Leader on line clearance and 5S.
· Communicate effectively with production personnel, supervisors, and engineers to ensure quality.
· Maintain good documentation practices.
Injection Molding Process Technician Job Requirements
The ideal candidate will already possess:
· 3+ years of hands-on experience in injection molding.
· A working knowledge and experience with injection molding and ancillary equipment
· A working knowledge of a wide range of thermoplastic materials and their properties
· Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail
· Familiarity with injection molding machines and robots

Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
