Position: Franchise Business Consultant
Location: Southern California based. Hybrid position with some in person meetings at the Franchise Support Center, Newport Beach, CA and field visits.
Salary Range: $75,000 - $90,000 base salary + quarterly bonus program
Position Overview:
The Franchise Business Consultant (FBC) serves as the primary point of contact and will provide leadership, coaching and strategic direction to assigned franchisees. The FBC shall be responsible for the management, organization, and direction of all aspects of Juice It Up! store operations within a defined geographic area, beginning with new stores from training, opening, to full operation, and any post startup operations. This position assists the Franchise Support Center (FSC) and operations team with upholding the Juice It Up! (JIU) brand standards and deploying key initiatives at the field level. The primary objectives are to deliver outstanding food quality, guest experience and cleanliness. Additional goals are to maximize short and long-term sales, guest counts, restaurant profitability and market share. The FBC will consistently demonstrate JIU values and leadership behaviors to build positive business relationships with key partners including franchisees, FSC teams, suppliers, and functional partners. This position requires significant time in the field visiting stores reviewing performance and compliance as well as domestic travel when needed for training and Grand Opening events for franchise stores. Key responsibilities will include the identification of programs and activities to drive sales and improve store profitability; the implementation of local store marketing programs; continuous quality communications with franchisees and FSC teams.
Job Responsibilities:
· Partners as needed with cross-functional teams such as; Training, Marketing, Innovation, Operation Services and Supply Chain to launch and achieve targeted results.
· Educate / train, support and certify the franchise community in the successful execution of all JIU operating systems / tools.
· Conduct cyclical business reviews with each franchisee to analyze the overall performance of their organization and provide exemplary business consulting services to Franchise Partners to drive their success. This should include detailed action plans addressing areas for improvement as well as opportunities to capitalize on existing growth opportunities.
· Operate as the first point of contact for the franchisee and the primary link between the operator and the Franchise Support Center. Ensures all cross-functional support is provided to the franchisee as needed. Engages the cross-functional team in proactive activities such as but not limited to:
o Offsite sales plans / local store marketing
o Succession planning / organization structure
o New unit development / market planning
o In depth financial analysis / capital planning
· Must be familiar with local governmental food service and health laws.
· Cultivates productive, influential working relationships that result in improved business results.
· Helps franchisees improve product quality, guest satisfaction, guest counts, same store sales (SSS) & profitability.
· Protects the JIU brand by identifying and addressing issues that may pose risks to guest experience and ensures brand standards are maintained consistently.
· Identifies root cause issues at the organization and restaurant levels through data analysis, in-person observations, and stakeholder conversations.
· Partners with franchisees to detail organizational strengths/weaknesses and assist the franchisees in their development of structured business growth plans and objectives.
· Conducts structured coaching activities (i.e., business reviews, business planning sessions, systems excellence visits, Profit and Loss coaching, etc.)
· Responsible to work within the guidelines established by franchise law to ensure maximum compliance and support to franchisees defined in the JIU Franchise Agreement and the JIU FDD.
· Prepare Proformas, Profit and Loss statements, Performance Reports and Break-Even analysis for assigned franchise locations.
· Plan and schedule routine store visits and meeting with store management for the purpose of operation improvements and brand compliance.
· Monitor local market competition for innovative ideas and/or duplication of the JIU concepts.

Education:
Experience:
