Operation Delta Dog, a nonprofit with a mission to rescue shelter dogs and train them to be service dogs for veterans with Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder, Traumatic Brain Injury, and related challenges, has opened a training facility in Hollis, New Hampshire. The organization is seeking to hire an additional kennel assistant for the daily care of service dogs at this facility.

Responsibilities and Duties
Monitoring the health and comfort of the dogs
Walking dogs, monitoring dog play in outside yard, and cleaning up dog waste
Providing attention and socialization to dogs, monitoring behavior using positive reinforcement methods
Feeding and providing fresh water to dogs
Daily washing and disinfecting of dog kennels, training spaces, and food receptacles
Washing, drying, and folding dog bedding
Preparing Kongs and maintaining other toys
General housekeeping of animal housing, food preparation, laundry, and bathroom areas
Providing general grooming for dogs, such as brushing and bathing
Other duties as assigned
Qualifications and Skills
Experience in animal care
Demonstrates the ability to work efficiently and independently with minimal supervision
Demonstrates the ability to be flexible
Demonstrates the ability and desire to work as a team member
