Essential Functions (but not limited to):
§ Be knowledgeable in U.S.D.A. meal requirements (acceptable foods, portions, vitamin requirements, etc.)
§ Preparation of meals and snacks that are U.S.D.A approved.
§ Must be knowledgeable in portion sizes to ensure the correct quantity is made per daily enrollment needs. Cooks must adjust recipes up or down based on enrollment as needed.
§ Maintain a clean and sanitary kitchen.
§ Maintain proper food storage.
§ Post a weekly menu.
§ Coordinate and/or perform grocery / supply shopping.
§ Cover lunches and breaks on an as needed basis.
§ Must be in designated Kid’s World uniform daily.
§ Regular and punctual attendance as required.
§ And other duties as assigned and needed by the center.
Minimum Qualifications:
A cook must be at least 18 years of age, have a high school diploma or GED equivalent, and shall meet the following requirements: have Current Food Handlers Card, HIV/AIDS training, and TB test, current 1st AID/ CPR, Stars Training, as necessary.

Pay: $16.28 - $21.00 per hour
