Overview:
Mid-Atlantic Surgical Group is seeking a skilled Medical Receptionist to join our healthcare team. We are a General and Vascular Surgical practice providing care to Salisbury and the surrounding areas. The ideal candidate is friendly and professional with experience in medical office settings.
Duties:
- Greet patients and visitors in a courteous and professional manner
-Check patients in for all appointments
-Enter all demographic information accurately and updating as needed
- Verify insurance information and collect payments
- Answer phone calls, take messages, and direct inquiries to the appropriate personnel
- Maintain patient records and ensure confidentiality of sensitive information
- Assist with administrative tasks such as filing, faxing, and scanning documents
Required Skills:
- Proficiency in medical terminology
- Experience with eClinicalWorks or similar electronic health record systems
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
