The Human Resources Department is seeking a dedicated Benefits Customer Care Representative to join our team on a contract basis. In this pivotal role, you will be the first point of contact for employee and retiree benefits inquiries, ensuring timely and accurate resolution of issues. Responsibilities:
- Customer Service:
- Respond promptly to benefit inquiries via phone and email (typically within 48 hours).
- Provide clear and accurate information on health care, retirement, open enrollment, and other benefits-related topics.
- Assist employees and retirees with eligibility, claims issues, Medicare coordination, and changes to personal information.
- Administration:
- Efficiently manage benefits mail, scanning and organizing documentation.
- Initiate and close cases within Salesforce, ensuring timely follow-up.
- Assist with the audit and processing of new hire and retirement paperwork.
- Process basic transactions in PeopleSoft (e.g., address changes).
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or a related field OR 2 years of equivalent experience.
- Minimum 1 year of experience in a fast-paced, high-volume customer service environment.
- Proficiency in PeopleSoft Benefits Administration module, Salesforce, and DocuSign (or similar software).
