My Left Foot Children’s Therapy was founded almost 20 years ago, with the same mission that we still hold dear today – “to make a REAL difference in the life of EACH child who walks through our doors.” At My Left Foot Children’s Therapy, we provide outpatient pediatric physical therapy, occupational therapy, and speech therapy to thousands of children every week. We currently have 6 pediatric outpatient clinics located in Las Vegas, NV, and the surrounding cities and communities of Henderson, North Las Vegas, Summerlin, and Green Valley. About the Position:
My Left Foot Children’s Therapy is currently seeking an Administrative Assistant for our Culture, Compliance & Compensation Department (i.e. our Human Resources Department).
Your Responsibilities as Administrative Assistant in our Culture, Compliance & Compensation Department:
- To assist with the onboarding of new employees
- To assist with provider credentialing
- To assist with the compilation and dissemination of medical records
- To assist with processing bimonthly payroll
- To assist with processing employee benefit claims
- To assist with the maintenance of employee information needed for employee benefits
- To assist with the maintenance of employee benefits programs and open enrollment
- To assist with the maintenance of our Policies and Procedures handbooks
- To assist with new-hire paperwork
- To assist with the maintenance of personnel employee files
- To assist with the receipt and filing of reports submitted by department managers regarding company policy infractions made by employees
- To assist with employee disciplinary meetings and investigations
- To assist with employee terminations
- To assist with employee exit interviews
- To assist with activities, events, and celebrations
- To assist with promoting a positive work culture and showing our appreciation for our valued employees
- To assist with ensuring the integrity of our Culture, Compliance & Compensation department policies and procedures, as well as our company policies and procedures
- To assist in the processing of all leaves of absences, as well as return-to-work paperwork
- To complete all tasks asked of you by our Culture, Compliance & Compensation Manager or any senior CC&C dept. employee
- To accept and complete special assignments
- To use exceptional interpersonal skills when interacting or communicating with My Left Foot Children’s Therapy employees, patients, providers, payors, referrers, or vendors
- To answer employee questions and resolve employee complaints, issues, or situations with exceptional courtesy, kindness, and respect, and in a timely manner
- To maintain confidentiality and respect for personal information of patients and employees of My Left Foot Children’s Therapy
- To serve as a role model upholding the mission, ethics, policies, and procedural standards of My Left Foot Children’s Therapy
- To foster a culture of inclusivity, equality, and respect between our employees, our management, our patients, and our community
- Will report directly to the Culture, Compliance, and Compensation Manager
Skills required:
- The professional skills necessary to confer with all other company employees in an appropriate, respectful, and professional manner
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to manage sensitive and confidential situations with tact, professionalism, and diplomacy.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- The ability to complete math equations of moderate difficulty
- Excellent computer skills in a Microsoft Windows environment. Must include proficiency with Word and Excel.
- The ability to interpret data on Excel spreadsheets, or quickly learn to do so
- The ability to create Excel spreadsheets, or quickly learn how to do so
- The ability to quickly learn payroll management in ADP
Physical Requirements:
- The ability to sit at a desk and work on a computer for prolonged periods of time
- The ability to see, read, and interpret information on a computer screen for extended periods of time
- The upper extremity and fine motor abilities necessary to work on a computer for an extended period of time
- The ability to lift up to 10 pounds
- The ability to navigate around various departments and occasionally around various locations of the company within the Las Vegas Valley
