You will foster relationships within the community while working side by side with the Agent and our service representatives to promote Country Financial products including home, auto, and life insurance.
The Associate Agent will be responsible for the sales operations of our Charleston location. This includes prospecting for new clients, meeting existing clients that visit our location, marketing themselves and our office in order to solicit the sales of our products, and the general sales success of our Charleston location.
The COUNTRY Financial - Kent Agency is a growing insurance agency with offices in Charleston and Mattoon. We foster a team-oriented culture, along with an independent creative thinking approach and problem-solving solutions. We are looking to fill a position in our Associate Agent program. In this program you will learn the skills to compete for future openings to run your own office while gaining experience in our office.
Responsibilities:
- Provide exceptional service to our valued clients.
- Ability to represent and market the Country Financial brand as well as yourself as a community member/business leader.
- Develop prospective contacts, meet with clients to tailor to their needs while matching them with products Country Financial offers to protect them and their futures.
- Work with the Agent to establish and meet goals for both client and professional development.
- Utilize a consultative approach to educate clients on their options for managing their risk and protecting their financial future.

Requirements
- A passion for educating our clients in managing risk through products and services offered by our office, and a vision for helping our clients reach their dreams
- A desire to always do the right thing for our valued clients
- Sales experience (outside sales or inside sales representative, retail sales associate, or telemarketing) preferred
- Successful track record of meeting sales goals/quotas preferred
- Self-motivated
- Detail oriented
- Ability to make presentations to potential clients
- Property and Casualty license (must be able to obtain)
- Life and Health license (must be able to obtain)
