Customer Experience Coordinator
Summary
The Automotive Porter is responsible for preforming a variety of duties as it related to the maintenance and service of vehicles. This position interacts daily with the Product Specialist, Service Manager, Sales Manager, support staff and customers. The goal of a Porter is to ensure that our customers are 100% happy with the delivery of their car and equipment is functioning properly.
Essential Duties
- Leading yourself and the team in a way that supports our Company Vision and Mission
- Remove vehicle protective coverings and ID tags prior to returning completed vehicle to customer
- Inspect vehicles for stains, debris and damages before returning the vehicle to the customer, and report any damage immediately.
- Keeps vehicle lot neat and orderly, moving units as directed and in accordance with dealership display standards.
- Pick up vehicles from and deliver vehicles to storage.
- Test batteries of customer vehicles in service drive.
- Maintains building and ground as needed.
- Organizes and handles sensitive customer information.
- Other tasks assigned
Qualifications

- All applicants must be able to demonstrate ability to pass pre-employment testing to include background checks, MVR, drug test, credit report.
- Applicant must have a valid driver license.

Education and/or Experience
- No prior experience or training.
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
Language Skills
- Ability to read a limited number of two- and three-syllable words and to recognize similarities and differences between words and between series of numbers. Ability to print and speak simple sentences.
- Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients and other employees of the organization.
Mathematical Skills
- Ability to add and subtract two digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10’s and 100's. Ability to perform these operations using units of American money and weight measurement, volume and distance.
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio and percent and to draw and
Interpret bar graphs.
Reasoning Ability
- Ability to apply common sense understandings to carry out simple one- or two-step instructions. Ability to deal with standardized situations with only occasional or no variables.
- Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
