Job Specific Duties:
- Event Coordination and Delivery: Coordinate setup and delivery of catering events, showcasing creativity in food presentations.
- Inventory Management and Recommendations: Maintain equipment stock, recommend purchases, and oversee inventory.
- Menu Planning Collaboration: Collaborate with the Executive Chef on menu planning for events.
- Quality Control and Timeliness Oversight: Monitor product quality and ensure timely delivery of services.
- Industry Awareness: Stay updated on industry trends and developments.
- Client Meetings and Survey Reporting: Meet with clients, report survey results, and ensure customer satisfaction.
- Equipment Maintenance and Storage Organization: Maintain catering equipment and storage area cleanliness and organization.
- Compliance and Safety: Adhere to departmental policies, HACCP/Food Safety procedures, and safe driving practices.
- Versatile Role: Serve in various roles when not involved in catering events to support overall kitchen operations.
- Additional Responsibilities: Perform assigned duties as needed to fulfill departmental goals and objectives.
What you will need:
- Previous customer service experience, preferably in healthcare or hospitality.
- Experience with catering or food service required, preferably in healthcare or hospitality.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a compassionate and patient-centered approach.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining professionalism.
- Physical capability to lift and carry trays and navigate hospital corridors.
- Basic understanding of dietary restrictions and food safety principles.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional training in patient care or customer service is advantageous.
- A positive attitude and willingness to collaborate with hospital staff to ensure patient satisfaction.
